In order to minimize the discomfort of a function or a part of the home automation system temporarily not working, EKINEX offers a quick replacement of an ekinex® device presenting malfunctioning during the warranty period with shipment of a replacement unit of the same device by "Global Express" courier mode.
To apply for a quick replacement is necessary to fill in the form in this page: https://en.ekinex.com/support/technical-support.html. The form necessarily requires you to enter the serial number you find on the product label: requests for replacement without the serial number will be not accepted. The EKINEX Commercial Support verifies that your device is still in the warranty period. The date of delivery to the customer of the device is considered the start of the warranty period.
In order to enable a free of charge replacement is necessary to send back the malfunctioning unit to the EKINEX Technical Assistance that check in its laboratory the presence of the described malfunctioning. If within ten days from the sending of the form the device has not been sent back, if the device sent back has no malfunctioning or if the failure is clearly caused by negligence of the customer, EKINEX will charge to the customer the price of the replaced device.
Important! The ekinex® devices KNX have to be addressed, configured and commissioned with ETS. The only installation and electrical connection of a device are not sufficient to carry out the function of the replaced device.
